4 Days Morocco Tour From Fes to Marrakech via the Sahara Desert

We start our private 4 days Morocco desert tour from Fes by picking you up from your hotel, riad, Fes airport, or any meeting point in the city. We leave Fes and travel towards Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of its alpine-style architecture, clean streets, and mountain atmosphere.nnAfter Ifrane, we continue to Azrou, a Berber town located near the famous cedar forest. Here, you may see Barbary monkeys in their natural environment and enjoy the fresh landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains.nnThe journey continues through beautiful mountain roads, forests, Berber towns, and panoramic landscapes before reaching Midelt, a peaceful town known for apples and mountain views. Dinner and overnight will be in a local hotel or guesthouse in Midelt.

After breakfast, we leave Midelt and continue our journey towards the Sahara Desert. We drive through mountain roads, traditional villages, and changing landscapes before reaching the beautiful Ziz Valley.nnThe Ziz Valley is famous for its palm groves, panoramic viewpoints, kasbahs, and oasis landscapes. We may stop for photos overlooking the valley before continuing through Erfoud, a town known for fossils and dates.nnIn the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, located near the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. You will ride camels across the Sahara sand dunes and enjoy a magical sunset over the desert. After reaching the desert camp, you will enjoy dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful overnight stay under the desert sky.

Early in the morning, we recommend waking up to watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, we leave the Sahara Desert and drive towards Rissani, an old trading town and an important historical place in southern Morocco.nnAfter visiting Rissani, we continue through desert landscapes, traditional villages, and palm groves towards the beautiful Ziz Valley. This valley is one of the most impressive oasis areas in Morocco, known for its green palm trees, kasbahs, panoramic viewpoints, and peaceful scenery.nnIn the afternoon, we continue towards Midelt, a quiet mountain town located between the Sahara Desert and the Middle Atlas Mountains. Dinner and overnight will be in a local hotel or guesthouse in Midelt.

After breakfast, we leave Midelt and start the journey back to Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you will enjoy mountain roads, cedar forests, Berber villages, and beautiful natural landscapes.nnWe may stop again near the cedar forest to enjoy the fresh mountain air and see Barbary monkeys. After that, we continue to Ifrane, one of Morocco's cleanest and most charming mountain towns, known for its European-style architecture and calm atmosphere.nnIn the afternoon, we arrive back in Fes.
