We start our private 5 days Morocco desert tour from Fes by picking you up from your hotel, riad, airport, or any meeting point in Fes. We leave the cultural capital of Morocco and travel towards Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of its alpine-style architecture, clean streets, and mountain atmosphere.nnAfter Ifrane, we continue to Azrou, a Berber town located near the famous cedar forest. Here, you may see Barbary monkeys in their natural environment and enjoy the fresh mountain landscapes of the Middle Atlas region.nnThe journey continues through beautiful mountain roads, forests, Berber towns, and panoramic landscapes before reaching Midelt, a peaceful town known for apples and mountain views. Dinner and overnight will be in a local hotel or guesthouse in Midelt.

After breakfast, we leave Midelt and continue our journey towards the Sahara Desert. We drive through mountain roads, traditional villages, and changing landscapes before reaching the beautiful Ziz Valley.nnThe Ziz Valley is famous for its palm groves, panoramic viewpoints, kasbahs, and oasis landscapes. We may stop for photos overlooking the valley before continuing through Erfoud, a town known for fossils and dates.nnIn the afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, located near the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. You will ride camels across the Sahara sand dunes and enjoy a magical sunset over the desert. After reaching the desert camp, you will enjoy dinner, Berber music around the campfire, and a peaceful overnight stay under the desert sky.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga Sahara Desert and the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, we start a full desert adventure around Merzouga by 4x4 vehicle.nnYou may visit nomad families living near the dunes and learn about their traditional desert lifestyle. We can also visit Khamlia village, famous for Gnawa music, where you will enjoy local music and discover an important part of Moroccan desert culture.nnThe day may also include desert tracks, black volcanic landscapes, panoramic viewpoints of Erg Chebbi dunes, small Berber villages, palm groves, and a desert oasis. Dinner and overnight will be in Merzouga, either in a desert camp or a local hotel near the dunes.

Early in the morning, we recommend waking up to watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, we leave the Sahara Desert and travel through the beautiful landscapes of southern Morocco.nnWe drive through Erfoud and several Berber villages before reaching Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyons in Morocco. Here, you will have time to walk between the high cliffs and enjoy the beautiful views of the gorge, palm groves, and surrounding mountains.nnAfter visiting Todra Gorge, we continue to Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations, kasbahs, valley views, and peaceful landscapes. Dinner and overnight will be in a local hotel or riad in Dades Valley.

After breakfast, we leave Dades Valley and start the journey back to Fes. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful southern Moroccan landscapes, mountain roads, Berber villages, and changing views between the desert and the Middle Atlas Mountains.nnWe continue through Todra region, Erfoud area, Ziz Valley, and Midelt, where we may stop for lunch or a short break. The journey offers many opportunities for photos and scenic views of valleys, mountains, and traditional villages.nnIn the afternoon or evening, we arrive back in Fes.
