6-Day Morocco Tour from Marrakech to Agadir

We start our private 6 days Morocco tour from Marrakech to Agadir by picking you up from your hotel, riad, airport, or any meeting point in Marrakech. We leave the red city and travel through the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the famous Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2260 meters. Along the way, we enjoy beautiful mountain views, Berber villages, valleys, and panoramic photo stops.nnWe continue to the famous Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most beautiful fortified villages in Morocco. This kasbah is one of the main highlights of many Morocco tours and has been used as a filming location for many international movies.nnAfter visiting Ait Ben Haddou, we continue through Ouarzazate towards Skoura Oasis, a peaceful palm grove famous for its old kasbahs, traditional villages, and beautiful oasis landscapes. Dinner and overnight will be in a local hotel or riad in Skoura.

After breakfast, our Morocco desert tour continues from Skoura towards Roses Valley, famous for its rose products, beautiful valley views, and traditional Berber villages. We continue along the road of kasbahs and enjoy the changing landscapes of southern Morocco.nnThe journey continues to Todra Gorge, one of the most impressive canyons in Morocco. We will stop to walk inside the high cliffs and enjoy the beautiful views of the gorge, palm groves, and surrounding mountains.nnAfter visiting Todra Gorge, we continue through Tinghir, Erfoud, and desert villages before reaching Merzouga, located near the golden Erg Chebbi dunes. In Merzouga, you will ride camels across the Sahara sand dunes and enjoy a magical sunset. Dinner and overnight will be in a Sahara desert camp near the dunes.

Today is dedicated to exploring the Merzouga Sahara Desert and the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, we start a full desert discovery tour around Merzouga by 4x4 vehicle.nnYou may visit nomad families living near the dunes and learn about their traditional desert lifestyle. We can also visit Khamlia village, famous for Gnawa music, where you will enjoy local music and discover an important part of Moroccan desert culture.nnThe day may also include desert tracks, black volcanic landscapes, panoramic viewpoints of Erg Chebbi dunes, small Berber villages, palm groves, and a desert oasis. Dinner and overnight will be in Merzouga, either in a desert camp or a local hotel near the dunes.

Early in the morning, we recommend waking up to watch the sunrise over the dunes of Merzouga. After breakfast, we leave the Sahara Desert and travel through the beautiful desert landscapes of southern Morocco.nnWe drive through Alnif, a quiet desert town surrounded by rocky mountains and dry landscapes, then continue towards Nkob, a beautiful village known for its kasbahs, palm groves, and mountain views. Along the way, you will enjoy Berber villages, desert roads, and authentic southern Moroccan scenery.nnIn the afternoon, we continue to Agdz, a charming oasis town located near the Draa Valley. Agdz is known for its palm groves, kasbahs, peaceful atmosphere, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Dinner and overnight will be in a local riad or hotel in Agdz.

After breakfast, we leave Agdz and continue our private Morocco tour towards Taliouine, a town famous for saffron and beautiful Anti Atlas landscapes. Along the way, we pass through traditional Berber villages, dry mountain scenery, and peaceful southern Moroccan roads.nnIn Taliouine, we may stop to learn about saffron, one of the most famous local products in the region. The area is known for its saffron cooperatives, mountain views, and authentic rural atmosphere.nnAfter Taliouine, we continue to Taroudant, often called the little Marrakech because of its red walls, old medina, traditional souks, and relaxed Moroccan charm. Dinner and overnight will be in a local riad or hotel in Taroudant.

After breakfast, you will have time to enjoy Taroudant, one of the most beautiful historical towns in southern Morocco. You may walk around the old medina, visit the souks, see the city walls, and enjoy the calm local atmosphere.nnLater, we leave Taroudant and drive towards Agadir, Morocco's famous Atlantic coastal city.
